We are thrilled that Hanna Lindström and Göran Bostedt, CERE, have received funding from the Umeå Centre for Gender Studies (UCGS) for recruiting a doctoral student within a project aiming to study gender aspects within environmental economic policy. The project sets out to analyse economic behaviors among households/individuals within environmental domains, from a gender perspective, and investigate if/to which extent policies in these domains can be deemed economically unfair from a gender perspective. Further, the project aims to suggest measures to increase the effectiveness of environmental policy while striving for potential gender inequalities not being perpetuated.
