In the end of May, Dr Hyounsuk Lee visited Umeå to initiate collaboration between his institute BK21 R&E Center for Energy & Environment (Korea University) and research groups at CERE.
Professor Lundgren of CERE and Dr Lee met in Seoul November last year when a group from UmU/SLU visited South Korea with the aim of creating research collaborations. At CERE, Dr Lee presented his current research on carbon intensity in Korean industry and the implications of the Korean ETS system for GHG emissions. Since then, Dr Lee has moved to Kookmin University (assistant Professor, College of Economics and Commerce). We hope to have a fruitful collaboration in the future!
